Vietnam War Memorial Wall

Charles E. Smeltzer III
Charles Smeltzer was born on January 20, 1949.  He was single and his religion was Lutheran (Missouri Synod).  He became a member of the Army while residing in York, Pennsylvania and attained the rank of SGT.  On February 13, 1970 at the age of 21, Charles Smeltzer gave his life in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Long Khanh Province.  You can find Charles Smeltzer honored on the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Panel 13W, Row 6.
 
Roger Myers Smelser
Roger Smelser was born on August 21, 1950.  He was married and Protestant.  He became a member of the Navy while residing in Knoxville, Tennessee and attained the rank of RM3 (E4).  On July 2, 1972 at the age of 21, Roger Smelser gave his life in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Quang Nam Province.  You can find Roger Smelser honored on the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Panel 1W, Row 51.
